Informational use
XIV Mods is an independent reference site. It does not create, host, distribute or guarantee the repositories, Dalamud plugins, character mods or standalone applications linked here. Use of third-party tools remains your choice and responsibility.
Catalogue information, including responses from Keeper of the Grimoire and the related API, may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. You are responsible for evaluating third-party Dalamud plugins and repositories and using them at your own risk. XIV Mods does not guarantee their availability, safety, compatibility or continued maintenance.
Content standard
Explicit sexual content is not accepted. Listings and site imagery must not depict nudity, exposed breasts or genitals, sexual acts, fetish content or pornographic presentation. Tasteful, non-explicit and mildly suggestive character customisation may be listed. External destinations may contain adult sections, but that content must not be reproduced here and should be clearly flagged.
Contributor access
Contributor accounts may create and edit draft listings. Submission does not guarantee publication. Hierophant may edit, decline, unpublish or remove material that is inaccurate, unsafe, explicit, exploitative or outside the site’s purpose.
Account and game risk
Square Enix prohibits third-party tools. Their use can result in warnings, suspension or termination. Automation carries additional risk and may affect other players.
Keeper of the Grimoire
Keeper of the Grimoire is an optional Discord integration provided by XIV Mods. It may operate in the official XIV Mods Discord server and, if offered in future, in third-party Discord servers.
Do not abuse or spam the bot or API, attempt to extract credentials through reverse engineering or other means, bypass rate limits, or use them in ways that disrupt the service. XIV Mods may restrict, suspend or remove access for abuse, excessive automated use, security concerns or operational reasons.
The bot and API may change, be unavailable or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or continued operation.
Future access on third-party Discord servers may be free, donation-supported or subject to a service charge to help cover hosting and API costs. Any charge is for access to the XIV Mods bot or service itself; it does not buy third-party plugins or grant ownership of, licences for, or access rights to them. Any pricing, paid-service terms and applicable cancellation or refund arrangements will be explained before you choose to pay.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Unofficial community services
XIV Mods, Keeper of the Grimoire and the related API are community-run, unofficial services. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by Square Enix, Discord, Dalamud/goatcorp, plugin authors or repository maintainers unless explicitly stated. No fee or donation implies endorsement by any of these parties.
